FRIES
- 1 cup (100g) Super-Fine Natural Almond Flour (Almond Meal), Bob’s Red Mill
- 3 Tsp (8g) of Xanthan Gum
- 6 TBSP (60g) of Hot Water
- Chosen Foods 100% Pure Avocado Oil Spray
LOWER SODIUM SEASONING
- 1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/2 Tsp Onion Powder
- 1/2 Tsp Paprika
- 1/2 Tsp Himalayan Sea Salt
Instructions
FRIES:
- Place Almond Flour and Xanthan Gum in a mixing bowl and mix well
- Add hot water and mix well. NOTE: Dough will be very sticky.
- Let dough rest in bowl for 15 minutes – this will make it less sticky.
- Layout a sheet of parchment or wax paper and using a spatula, scoop out all the dough into a rough rectangle and cover with a second sheet of parchment or wax paper.
- Roll covered dough until about 1/4 of inch thick.
- Cut into approximately 32 fries.
- Spray with Chosen Foods 100% Pure Avocado Oil Spray
- Gently Place on an oven rack and put in air fryer at 400°F for about 6 minutes (flip halfway through) or until crispy
SEASONING:
- Mix well – garlic powder, onion powder, paprika and sea salt in a small bowl.
- Immediately after fries come out of the air fryer dust with seasoning mixture.
- Serve immediately and eat with your favorite condiment!
Notes
Can be frozen – so make as many as you like and store frozen for later! Reheat in the air fryer or in a conventional oven at 250 degrees.
