KETO VEGAN FRENCH FRIES


Description

Ingredients

FRIES

  • 1 cup (100g) Super-Fine Natural Almond Flour (Almond Meal), Bob’s Red Mill
  • 3 Tsp (8g) of Xanthan Gum
  • 6 TBSP (60g) of Hot Water
  • Chosen Foods 100% Pure Avocado Oil Spray

LOWER SODIUM SEASONING

  • 1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Paprika
  • 1/2 Tsp Himalayan Sea Salt

Instructions

FRIES:

  1. Place Almond Flour and Xanthan Gum in a mixing bowl and mix well
  2. Add hot water and mix well. NOTE: Dough will be very sticky.
  3. Let dough rest in bowl for 15 minutes – this will make it less sticky.
  4. Layout a sheet of parchment or wax paper and using a spatula, scoop out all the dough into a rough rectangle and cover with a second sheet of parchment or wax paper.
  5. Roll covered dough until about 1/4 of inch thick.
  6. Cut into approximately 32 fries.
  7. Spray with Chosen Foods 100% Pure Avocado Oil Spray
  8. Gently Place on an oven rack and put in air fryer at 400°F for about 6 minutes (flip halfway through) or until crispy

SEASONING:

  1. Mix well – garlic powder, onion powder, paprika and sea salt in a small bowl.
  2. Immediately after fries come out of the air fryer dust with seasoning mixture.
  3. Serve immediately and eat with your favorite condiment!

Notes

Can be frozen – so make as many as you like and store frozen for later! Reheat in the air fryer or in a conventional oven at 250 degrees.
